What Goat Creek is
It is not a resort or a generic cabin cluster. It is a private wooded retreat with two bookable stays, two hot tubs, creek access, trails, a firepit, and enough comfort inside that guests can actually relax after being outside.
GOAT CREEKLuxury Retreat · EST. 2020About Goat Creek
Goat Creek Luxury Retreat is a family-owned stay in Winneconne, Wisconsin, built around private acreage, a quiet creek, five resident goats, and two distinct places to stay: the Treehouse and the restored Barndominium.

It is not a resort or a generic cabin cluster. It is a private wooded retreat with two bookable stays, two hot tubs, creek access, trails, a firepit, and enough comfort inside that guests can actually relax after being outside.

The Barndominium was built with boards and beams from a family barn that was more than 150 years old and had begun to deteriorate. Those materials were slowly disassembled, saved, and rebuilt into the stay guests see today.

Many of the visible beams use mortise-and-tenon joinery, the same traditional method used in the original barn. Even the exterior carries the land forward: it was made from pine trees that had been growing where the Barndominium now stands.

Goat Creek sits near Oshkosh, Appleton, Neenah, Fond du Lac, Ripon, and Green Lake. Guests use it for romantic getaways, family weekends, small group retreats, EAA-season lodging, and Wisconsin nature escapes.

The place is built around memory: coffee in the trees, goats at the fence, a quiet creek, fires after dark, and the feeling that the stay has its own little world around it.
