The cottage has been restored to feel brand new while retaining its old charm. You'll have all the modern amenities you come to expect (fast wifi, toasty fireplace, smart TVs), while surrounded by character and nostalgia of the past. The full kitchen has an electric range, a full fridge, coffee, Keurig, a toaster, and all the other kitchen items you'd need to cook a homemade meal. There is an island that seats 2 and a larger dining room table. This is a great place to stay in all four seasons - each has special moments! Would you instead sled through the forest in the winter or jump off the dock in the summer? This two-bedroom home is 1000 square feet with a queen bed, a full bed, twin bunk beds, and a large comfortable sofa perfect for a family, couple's getaway, or friend's trip. PONTOON/SWIMMING INFORMATION: Spring Lake is a beautiful spring-fed no-wake lake. It has crystal clean water and at its deepest is 40 feet deep! The pontoon that is included with your stay is a 2014 16ft Paddle Qwest. It has a swim ladder for so much family fun out on the lake! The boat will be taken out of the water in the middle of October, depending on the weather. Message us if you'd like a video tutorial on how the boat is used. It's a unique pontoon that creates a fun experience. Instead of a standard pontoon motor, it is moved by paddles and your own leg power. It has two seats for pedalers and four additional adults (seats six total). It also has an electric motor that can take over if you get tired of pedaling. It's solar-powered and has about 1 hour of charge before needing to charge in the sun again for a day. Quiet Hours: We do ask our guests to be kind to our peaceful lake wildlife and residential neighbors by agreeing to quiet hours between 10:00pm and 5:30am. Please do not use the hot tub, bonfire, or outdoor areas during quiet hours. Release: we ask all guests to please wear life jackets and sign a release before using the hot tub, pontoon, or lake.
